Orange is to offer granny friendly handset the Doro PhoneEasy 410s [1].

The clamshell - a relative of the Doro 334gsm HandlePlus IUP we reviewed here [2], part of our Granny Friendly Phones round-up [3] - features enlarged, backlit buttons and a clear, large-text display. The sound output is amplified beyond normal mobile phone levels.

All Doro [4] mobiles have panic buttons on the underside which can be pre-programmed to automatically dial up to five assigned numbers in the event of an emergency.

The Doro PhoneEasy 410s is available in Orange [5] stores nationwide and online. Priced at £99.00 the phone is being offered on Orange pay-as-you-go tariffs. ®
