Sony's USB Portable Power Supply [1] launched today, acts as a power source for any USB chargeable devices such as mobile phones, iPods and portable games consoles.
The adapter has dual modules - an input for charging and a detachable power supply with an embedded Li-Ion rechargeable battery.
Plug into the USB socket using original the USB cable supplied with your device and away you go.

A boost on the move
Sony says this is the first USB portable power charger it has designed to "complement the busy lifestyle of today's mobile consumers".
OK, maybe there is a redesign and a rechargeable Li-ion battery inside, but whatever happened to this bad boy? [2]
With no hints yet to availability or pricing, Sony should get its skates on - it is festival season after all. ®
