Free whitepaper – Enabling Datacenter and Cloud Service Management for Mid-Tier Enterprises
Ticket site Lunatickets apologised to users who got an email overnight telling them their password had been changed.
A Reg reader was almost amused to get the following password reset email from the firm.
Dear XXX
Your password to login to www.lunatickets.co.uk has been reset. Your new password is pissflaps. You can change this once you login to your account. You can access your account here.
Thanks
lunatickets
Only it wasn't. Pissflaps, that is.
An explanation on the site explained that security staff had blundered while checking systems.
No one's password was changed, to 'pissflaps' or anything else.
Users were advised to log in as usual using their existing passwords. ®
