Virgin Media will publicly demonstrate its upcoming 200Mb/s broadband service this weekend.
VM's demo follows hot on the heels of the expansion of its 200Mb/s trial into Coventry. The test set-up is already operating in Kent and has been since the summer of 2009.
The service operates over Virgin Media's fibre optic network, and involves running fibre into the home.
VM hasn't said when it expects to roll out 200Mb/s broadband commercially. Last month, it said it would offer subscribers 100Mb/s broadband by the end of this year.
Virgin's 200Mb/s demo will take place at the Ideal Home Show 2010 which kicks off a London's Earl's Court tomorrow. The show runs until 5 April. ®
