Sony and Arsenal to stream match highlights to PSPs

Sony has released an application that will to stream live football footage to PSP-clad Arsenal fans.
As we reported [1] in January 2009, the PSP app – officially called Arsenal TV Matchday+ - can be used by fans at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium to watch goal replays during a match.
The app also provides slow-motion footage, Arsenal player profiles, pre-match videos, news, league tables and more - all stuff that should get gadget-obsessed Gunners interested.
The app will be available to download through Arsenal’s official website [2] "in the coming weeks”, Sony said. Downloading the app will reveal a secure and hidden Wi-Fi network at the Emirates Stadium used to relay match content to the handheld console.
Arsenal TV Matchday+ can be used during the remaining 2009/2010 season games for a one-off £10 fee. Next season’s prices haven’t been disclosed. ®
