Agentless Backup is Not a Myth
The Xbox 360’s elusive 802.11n wireless adaptor has finally landed in Blighty.
Microsoft confirmed [1] the adaptor’s existence back in September, yet didn’t say when the gadget would be launched locally.

However, a photo of the boxed device has just been snapped supposedly sitting on a shelf in a branch of supermarket chain Asda.
The existing official Xbox 360 wireless adaptor can connect to 802.11a/b/g WLANs. It has one antenna. The updated model works with the recently standardised faster 802.11n specification and sports a pair of aerials.
While the 802.11n adaptor has yet to appear on Amazon’s UK website, Asda has the gadget priced up at £49 ($82/€55) - which is what's also charging for the older version. ®
