5 things you didn’t know about cloud backup

Within ten minutes of playing Halo 3 online you realise that there are only two guns that can utilise the rapid-fire function: the Carbine and the Plasma Pistol. However, you can’t use the second function of the Plasma Pistol because the mod means you can’t hold down the trigger to establish a constant connection. Also, the Carbine’s rate of fire is slow enough for the human finger to fire at maximum speed anyway, which begs the question: is there any need for Halo 3 mode?

Also available in black, for a price

While some modes appear obsolete, in practice, Consoles and Gadgets does offer some rather splendid customer support. Upgrades appear frequently for the Rapid Fire controller to coincide with new patches games releases and all you have to do is send it back for a free upgrade. The company can also make customised controllers on request.

Verdict

Consoles and Gadgets' Rapid Fire controller does exactly what it says; it fires single-fire weapons, very quickly. Yet, the final and most important point remains; if you think this controller will make you unbeatable on Xbox Live, it wont. The controller works to best effect in conjunction with the highest level of skill – meaning that, if you suck without it, you’re still going to suck with it. ®
