Instrumental update

Agentless Backup is Not a Myth

In a bold attempt to strike the right chord with modern mobile music fans, T-Mobile has confirmed plans to go on tour with a guitar themed handset.

Will T-Mobile's Fender edition of the myTouch 3G (above) hit the right note?

Later this year, T-Mobile will retune the myTouch 3G – aka HTC’s Magic – with a “guitar-inspired wood grain finish” and strum the phone out as the myTouch 3G Fender – named after the famous guitar firm.

Don’t fret though, because the Fender phone will still include all the same features as the original model, unveiled back in June.

However, T-Mobile has promised to preload the myTouch 3G Fender with video and audio clips from iconic musicians. The firm will also throw in a 16GB Micro SD card.

A formal launch date or price for the myTouch 3G Fender hasn’t been picked up yet. ®
