The new camera-equipped iPod nano has opened up an entirely new target market for Apple: music-loving degenerates.

Word comes from the gracefully named fuckedgaijin.com of the arrest [1] of a man in Kobe, Japan, who used the mini media player to surreptitiously video an 18-year-old schoolgirl in a bookstore.

And, no, he didn't merely capture secret shots of the young lovely's face. According to fuckedgaijin.com, "He hid the nano in his shoe and, with the lens pointing upwards, shuffled along to get a shot up her skirt."

Not only are we amused by that description of the perv perp's clumsy footwork, we're also tickled by its blatant iPod punning: "shuffled [2]" along...?

The Kobe upskirter is unlikely to be the last digital deviant to try such a stunt - and at least one US fitness club is already taking defensive maneuvers.

The 84-facility Life Time Fitness chain already bans cell phones from its locker rooms - after all, who wants to find their jiggy bits drawing guffaws on YouTube? But now the company's fitness centers have added the new iPod nano [3] to its list of forbidden gadgets.

If you want to listen to tunes at Lifetime Fitness, may we recommend the aforementioned iPod shuffle? ®
