It's official: Ireland is about to fall to Street View's all-seeing eye, as this photograph from Tramore, County Waterford, proves:

The sighting confirms local reports that Street View is operating in Cork, Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Waterford, and we're obliged to snapper Keith for providing evidence that Google has in this case dropped all pretence at stealth and deployed an Orwellian red Opel, the better to warn fearful locals their privacy is about to be well and truly shafted.
