Lumension keys in Securityworks for compliance buy

Patching specialist Lumension has acquired compliance and risk management firm Securityworks. Terms of the deal, announced on Monday, were not disclosed.

Lumension said the purchase will allow it to add compliance and risk management capabilities to its existing security portfolio, thereby improving its ability to compete in the endpoint security market.
