Despite packing in much of the latest in mobile phone technology, Samsung’s most recent handset is far from bulky – in fact it’s quite sleek.

Samsung's Lucido: sleek
The Lucido – which apparently takes its name from the Italian translation of the word 'sleek' – is a 114 x 46 x 12mm candybar handset that looks deceptively similar to the firm’s existing Tocco Ultra Edition [1] model.
Lucido has a 5Mp camera on board that’s able to spot both faces and smiles. Captured images and shot 15f/s video are stored on Micro SD memory cards of up to 8GB. Pictures can also be geo-tagged.
Web surfing’s possible thanks to the phone’s 7.2Mb/s-capable HSDPA 3G connection, while sites will be displayed on the 2.2in screen. The phone also supports quad-band GSM connections.
You’ll also find Bluetooth 2.1 on board.
Samsung said the Lucido will be available in UK stores from early next month, but a price hasn’t been given. ®
