Hyundai’s known for its cars, but surprised us all by launching headfirst into the mobile phone market. Now, however, the firm’s confirmed plans to make a watch.

The MB-910 is more of a natural progression for Hyundai though, because the timepiece is actually a tri-band GSM/GPRS mobile phone with around three hours of talk time - 70 hours on standby - and polyphonic ringtones.
It can’t be used for video calls – unlike LG’s GD910 [1] – but still sports a 132 x 176 touchscreen able to display WAP-captured content, SMS and MMS messages, and videos.
Talk to mates, send texts, watch video and see the time
Its face measures 58 x 44 16mm and the whole thing weighs just under 60g. Because Bluetooth’s supported, you’ll be able to chat using a headset or talk directly into the watch – just like Dick Tracy.
Hyundai’s MB-910 phone-cum-watch will go on sale in the UK for £200 ($275/€218) during Q2. ®
