Cairns police have arrested and charged the perv burglar who twice broke into a sex shop, had his evil way with "Jungle Jane" inflatable dolls and then unceremoniously dumped his conquests in an alleyway.

According to the Cairns Post, the unnamed 23-year-old was cuffed following "intelligence-based inquiries". He had three times targeted the Laneway Adult Shop, and also allegedly broke into the nearby Sapphire Bar.

The sex shop's owner told the paper earlier this month: “He has been taking the dolls out the back and blowing them up and using the dolls and leaving them in the alley. It is totally bizarre. It is a real concern that someone like that is out on the street.”

The perp was charged with "four counts each of enter premises with intent and one count of attempted break-in", and has been bailed to appear in Cairns Magistrates' Court next month.
