I'm not surprised by the lack of comments.

I get the impression that Jon Collins and/or Freeform Dynamics has a hard-on for getting rid of old stuff, but they don't really understand how systems are deployed in the RealWorld[tm]. Probably kids, just out of school, with newly minted degrees in statistical analysis.

I am of the opinion that Freeform Dynamics is pretty much useless overall. They don't seem to have anyone who has roots in the trenches in a field that has a very deep history, and which has reasons for listening to that tradition.

These are the kind of people I'm always picking up after in the RealWorld[tm]. I like to call them WebBoomPaperEngineers[tm]. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the additional income. But GAWD/ESS, they make life a pain in the ass with their FUD sometimes!

I don't expect this to make it past the moderators. I hope it does.
