Stop

From the Reg link in April 2004 ""This process has only just begun, it will be at least three months until a final decision is made."

If that's how good the project management of senior staff is they should be replaced by Czech citizens as well (or be on Czech wages).

<<European countries where jobs will be lost are: Austria; Belgium; ***Czech Republic***;>> HUH???

I should work for UPS. They're probably next.

At least, with UPS you get a free Ubuntu-coloured shirt 'n' trousers*. Saves changing when you've had a near-miss. DHL has a different uniform, IIRC.

*(See the new Ubuntu 8.10 background to put you off yer brekkie. It looks like both the BOFH and PFY pebble-dashed the same shitter after Friday lunchtime's Curry 'n' Guinness spasm without flushing)

So far, so bad

Unhappy

Previous projects sent to CZ have ignominiously returned, claims that they could deal with the work are now taken with a large pinch of sodium chloride. Except by senior managers, who seem to have an enlarged gullibility gland.

Not all jobs to Prague?

Germany is not listed amongst the countries losing jobs and DHL's parent, Deutsche Post World Net seems to have loads of IT jobs to fill in Germany.

Don’t Miss
