Ed was a legend in his own right. If he hadn't co-founded AMD, Intel would be the only major processor manufacturer out there, and they wouldn't have had any competition. I respect Ed for standing up and daring to compete with the Big 'Uns.

Rest in Peace, Mr Turney.

There are AMD fabs all over Silicon Valley. The place even has streets named after chip manufacture. The industry founders have left a lasting legasy. R.I.P Mr Turney..
