With just 24 hours or so to go before T-Mobile officially unveils the G1 Android-based handset, pictures of the phone have emerged online to whet consumers’ appetites.

Touch screen talker with slider keyboard
Blogger “Rizzn” posted the pictures online [1] and claimed he got them from one of his “super secret spies at Google”. Hmm...
The pictured phone’s slide-out keyboard makes it looks a little like T-Mobile/Motorola’s Sidekick. The unidentified user’s also shown selecting options with his thumb from the phone’s touchscreen.
Whether or not the images really show the finished G1 device, we haven’t got long to wait because T-Mobile will be making the official unveiling [2] of the $199 talker tomorrow afternoon.
