Network Solutions - the company that resells top level domains like .com and .net - seems to have misplaced its own website.
The company's website, networksolutions.com, is unavailable and has been for some time. Trying to visit the site right now just results in an embarrassing "Operation timed out" message.
Bad news for anyone trying to register one of the internet addresses the company offers for sale. The firm used to have a monopoly on domain names until ICANN got involved and introduced some competition. ®
