YouTube has pulled a video of a Free Tibet protest after receiving a takedown notice from the International Olympics Committee.
The video, of a protest action at the Chinese Consulate in New York, was removed from YouTube and promptly reappeared on Vimeo [1], BlipTV [2]and dozens of other video sites. At the time of writing it is even back on YouTube [3] (warning: Link contains drum and bass, and unpleasant images).
The New York protest has been superceded by rather braver protesters facing actual Chinese police in Beijing.
A search for 'china tibet protest' on YouTube footage uploaded today returns 32 videos [4] - most focused on ITN reporter John Ray bravely reporting via a minibus window after his apparent arrest. ®
