OLED video light switches?

NKK Switches' OLED switch

The OLED SmartSwitch push-button measures 15.5mm x 11.6mm and provides full motion video, with a viewing angle of 180°. Although it isn’t meant for home use, the switch could be a handy way of either pimping up your home or another way of cramming yet another display into your house.

But Hassan Sajadi, senior engineer at manufacturer NKK Switches, admitted that “OLEDs are still in their infancy as a switch technology”.

In reality, NKK Switches claims that audio-video broadcast workstations, industrial control panels, medical equipment and communications systems could be targets for the OLED switches.

A nice idea though...
