Now that Hello Kitty is a Japanese tourism Ambassador, would one be able to claim diplomatic immunity on the contents of a Hello Kitty branded laptop? Admittedly you'd therefore be ceding it to Japan but it's a small price to pay ;)

I was in a guitar shop on Charing Cross Road over the weekend and they had Hello Kitty guitars in there. Even the missus thought that a step too far.

but a few of my friends have lots of gear I believe even the Hellokitty BOB (battery operated boyfriend) allthough she never admitted it just blushed deeply when it was mentioned once. i came across it on a japanese export site jlist.com you can buy manga japanense food etc it was advertised as a back massager . i'll never be able to thing of hello kitty as evil due to a few personal memories of an ex-girlfriend and her kitty collection.

My wifeoid is obsessed with both HK and Webkinz. So much so that she has one room (the doom room shrine, I call it) devoted to both products. Anything Hello Kitty, she has; clothing, stickers, dolls, purses, wallets, a bicycle (adult sized), I mean we're talking hundreds of items that have pudgy, beady-eyed mouthless face. Should Ganz and the parent company ever get the idea to co-produce anything in webkinz world, we're doomed. Damn the socialists, the Chinese, the republicans, the liberals or the Islamic extremists, with their automatic weapons, suicide bombs and elite internet hit squads, we are all screwed.

The world will literally implode from the mass nausea of perceived "cuteness".

We must put aside our petty differences, like religion, political alignment, nationality, geography or race and band together to stop this creeping evil.

Some of you may scoff at this notion but I tell you I'm already seeing the scouting parties for evil armies of HK and Ganz. And based on how I've seen my wife react when she sees something she can't afford at the moment, I no longer fear hell. I fear Hello Kitty.
