Pun or typo, you decide...

Mine's the one with the stain on the lapel.

Boffin

So finally Veso is out of the hat - awesome set of servers that left even Matt Bryant mesmerized with their awe inspiring 'revolutionary' concepts.

The comparison of R805 with a Sun X4440 is rather unfair. R805 is a 2-socket server at 2U space. The comparable Sun product is 1U X4140 with identical memory capacity and 4x disk capacity. R905 is similar to X4440 with similar memory, disk and IO slot, except that R905 is 4U and X4440 is 2U.

Be thankful..

that Ashlee didn't go all the way with the pun....we could have suffered through..."our sauce ladled out further details, thickening the savory stew of Dell's announcements" or "our sauce spoon-fed us..." I could go on and on, but am even annoying myself. I've always held that puns are the lowest form of humor - except for Carrot Top and Pauly Shore..

Obviously, unlike HP, Dell took the 1 million free CPUs.....

I see bias in this article

Hi, you said "And it's those damned chips that have caused most of the problems" Only the OEM got the bad chip, the problem is fixed get over it." The Quad Opteron is a great chip that Intel doesn't have yet! The Phenom running the Unreal 3 Engine game is the fastest gaming cpu ever! See the benchmarks at www.lostcircuits.com Since most new games are based on the Unreal 3 Engine this is news! Since the Phenom is based on the Quad Opteron chip this is good news! Unreal 3 Engine supports quad cpus too.
