A video showing one Tricia Walsh-Smith bemoaning her treatment at the hands of her estranged husband, Broadway executive Philip Smith, has delighted YouTubers and struck fear into the hearts of lawyers who've described the outburst as a "scary, new step" in acrimonious divorces:
Crikey. According to Local6.com, Walsh-Smith's lawyer insisted she acted out of passion and described her as "a victim who is holding her head up".
Her husband's lawyers have responded that they're "kind of appalled", and other divorce specialists reckoned the footage would "come back and haunt her" since it "probably won't help her in front of a judge". They may have a point. ®
