Vivitar unveils N93i-esque camcorder

A few specs released

Vivitar has aroused camcorder enthusiasts with details of an upcoming model that’s decked out with the styling of Nokia’s N93i.

VivitarDVR565HD

Vivitar's DVR565HD: 720p resolution and 30fps

The DVR565HD captures video at a resolution of up to 720p and has a 30 frames per second capture rate. Video is compressed into H.264 and stored on SD memory cards of up to 4GB.

If you want to watch your video clips immediately, then the DVR565HD’s 3in LCD display should be handy, but you can also hook it up to an HD TV through the camcorder's built-in HDMI port.

Unfortunately, Vivitar is remaining tight-lipped about any of the model’s other features – aside from the fact it’ll be available in either a silver or black body later this month.
