Microsoft-Yahoo! cliffhanger has had the IT world on tenterhooks for a couple of weeks now, and planet Earth has temporarily stopped spinning on its axis in anticipation of the outcome of the marriage proposal from Redmond to the company! which! saved! the! exclamation! mark! from! extinction!

Of course, hacks across the globe have been having a field day imagining what the bastard offspring of such an unholy union might be called, with competing neologisms vying for favour.
