A pan-European trade body aims to be a better voice for the views of smaller IT businesses across the continent.
National trade bodies, including UKITA, representing some 200,000 people are joining up as founding members.
The group hopes to represent European technology SMEs, help such firms interact better with larger businesses, and get their voices heard by European politicians.
The Pan European ICT and eBusiness Network for Small to Medium Enterprises will be known as PIN-SME.
