Well......

While I can't see the connection with V for Vendetta - the section which shows what other people who bought this have purchased includes a couple of Roman Polanski flicks...... Hmmm.......

Boxset of 12 hardcore sex flicks for a quid a piece- bet that will be popular!

it could be worse...

Personally I feel sorry for those who brought the "12 Hardcore Sex Films Box Set (Exclusive to Amazon.co.uk)" and will now no doubt be being offered "V for Vendetta [2006]"....

not unique then....

i bought a copy of the terry jones book 'nicobobinus' (a childs book) a couple of christmasses ago - now i keep getting you might like 'some random dirty book/dvd'

now, im quite open minded but find it amusing that cos i bought 1 KIDS BOOK (thats it - ever!) from amazon they now think im some smutty bastard..... how did they know :)

At least...

...they're part-right. Some of the people who bought the "porn" (it's 18-rated? How can it be hardcore?) box set also bought all 7 Police Academy films. SO it's already known that they're w*****s then.

If I understand this correctly, you are a *former* Amazon customer - and they continue to send you unsolicited bulk commercial email.

That's what we call "spam" out here on the Innanet.

Amazon has a history of that sort of thing; it's why I am not nor, nor will I ever be, a spAmazon customer.

18 not R18

So not really Hardcore then, not surprising really as you can only buy R18 content in the UK in person at a licenced sex shop (or from an overseas supplier).

I'm guessing it won't be that popular.

Hm... reminds me that because of buying some D&D books for a friend, I now get recommendations every time some freak D&D book comes out. They don't even mind that most of my following orders had nothing to do with roleplay at all: sci-fi movies, sci-fi novels, and well the HP6 book. (At least they got that right, I was offered Book 7).

Now, for correlating V for Vendetta with smut ... maybe they mistook that "hardcore action"?

V for Vagina

V for Vendetta was pretty good i thought. I'll have to get back to you on the grumble flicks.

Who the hell would buy porn on amazon anyway?! If you're on the interweb, limitless free porn is a mere click or 5 away.

...if "12 Tales of Todger Tickling" is to be released on 27th August how could other peeps who bought "V for Vendetta" also have bought it already? Oh I get it...spAmazon! Doh! ;)

@Ian

Amazon call it "purchased" because you've preordered something

"you can only buy R18 content in the UK in person at a licenced sex shop"

Not true. I think you intended to have the word 'legally' in there somewhere. The sex shop that I worked in didn't have a licence but sold these DVDs. They had to be stored on top of a shed belonging to the shop next door so that, technically, they weren't on the premises.

They actually went for £50 each, with a £20 discount if you return it and buy a different one. Of course when business was slow we would watch some ourselves... they weren't even that good; I've seen better on the 'net for nothing!!

Oh the joys of youth... about 5 years ago.

V for vendetta is an amazing movie. But isn't it a 15?

Does that not mean that anyone under 18 who may have bought this movie just got reccomended porn.

And why would anyone buy it when it can be found so feely on the net.

Is it possble...
