WAN optimiser Riverbed Technology has signed an IT professional certification program deal with testing provider Pearson VUE.

The Riverbed Certified Solutions Professional (RCSP) exam is aimed at users of the firm's Riverbed Optimisation System (RiOS) wide area network software platform.

Individuals that pass the exam will be awarded a certificate containing the four-letter acronym, RCSP, which will demonstrate their competency in theory, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the RiOS product range.
