Free whitepaper – Enhancing retail operations with unified communications
When Vodafone announced it would be bringing in new pricing on 1 June, a data bundle was mentioned, but no details were to be made available until the launch.
Now it seems the details have slipped out on Vodafone's website (http://online.vodafone.co.uk/dispatch/Portal/appmanager/vodafone/wrp?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=template10&pageID=MI_0005), and it's an unremarkable offer.
Customers will be able to sign up for the data pack at £7.50 a month, with the first month free, for 120MB of data. After that they're back to £1 a day for up to 15MB, and £2 a MB beyond that.
The terms and conditions aren't available yet, and Vodafone couldn't be reached for comment, but it seems likely that the restrictions on VoIP, instant messaging, and other revenue-threatening services will remain. ®
