When we checked, T-Mobile's website wasn't yet listing the iPod-coloured handset, but T-Mobile said its appearance was imminent.

Beyond the colour, the white model is identical to the existing shiny black Pearl RIM, T-Mobile and other carriers have been offering since September 2006.

T-Mobile said the white version's price is, as ever, dependent on the airtime package its bought with - pick the right one and you can have the white Pearl for free.
