WStore wants to wow public sector

Online supplier of business IT equipment WStore has said it will build-up a sales team working exclusively for the public sector.

WStore was awarded Catalist IT supplier status in 2006 covering software, supplies, and office accessories.

It has been steadily building sales in the public sector ever since, with an estimated revenue potential of £85m a year for the next three years.

It said the public sector team will initially be made up of six members and expects it to double in size within months.

Managing director Tony Price said: "The public sector has always been an important market for WStore, and we have now taken steps to ensure we make the most of the expertise we have in providing excellent service to our public sector customers." ®
