Relisys back in administration

Further details pending...

Monitor maker Relisys Digital has gone into administration for the second time in just over year.

Any customer attempting to contact the firm, which supplies products including plasma screens and LCD TVs, is currently met with an answer machine message: "Please be advised that the company has gone into administration. You should direct all enquiries to Begbies Traynor."

We reported in January that the firm, based in Warrington, Cheshire, had gone into administration, but then went back into business in February saying it was able to honour warranties for monitors, LCD screens and plasma screens.

One Relisys customer told us: "I got a call from Repair Tech earlier stating that Relisys were back in administration and would not be paying up for repairs, and we'd have to stump up £45 for the repairs to a monitor...We're stuck with the cost of this repair now, no warranty to claim off and no respite in sight."

A spokesperson at Begbies Traynor told The Reg that a written statement may be released later today. We'll keep you posted. ®
