Biscit goes titsup

Crumbles into administration

Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Backup/Recovery

Company insolvency specialist Piper Thompson has confirmed it is handling the administration of broadband provider Biscit.

The London-based ISP has been busy denying speculation it is having financial problems after refund cheques to customers bounced, and staff were laid off in January.

The firm also lost executive director Hugh Paterson last month, and last week left the ISPA, leaving it operating without a dispute resolution service - an Ofcom requirement.

We tried to contact Biscit, but its media relations number is unobtainable, while its customer line just seems to leave people holding.

Piper Thompson had little in the way of advice to customers.®
