Carphone Warehouse hangs up on Big Brother

Omniscient entity seeks commercial backer

Regcast training : Hyper-V 3.0, VM high availability and disaster recovery

Carphone Warehouse has pulled its sponsorship of Big Brother after the racism allegations which plagued the last series of the celebrity-obsessed voyeurfest.

While choreographed fist fights, on-screen nudity, and under the covers blow jobs failed to raise the national ire, a few ill-judged comments have caused a national outcry, and prompted the loss of sponsorship.

This leaves Channel 4 in the difficult position of trying to find a sponsor with impeccable, and unassailable credentials to ensure the stain won't stick next year.

Many companies in the IT industry have expressed their confidence in the Indian subcontinent by outsourcing their operations there, while HSBC has made great play of their local knowledge all over the world, but beyond that we're lost for ideas. Suggestions to the usual address please. ®
