Amazon launches handbag and shoe website

Cash-strapped husbands beware

Steps to Take Before Choosing a Business Continuity Partner

Ferdinand Marcos can be thankful he's dead, because Amazon yesterday announced it has launched a dedicated shoe and handbag website in the US "to tap into the growing footwear and accessories market".

According to Reuters, Endless.com will offer over 250 brands for women and, we hasten to add, men. These include Donald J Pliner, Enzo Angiolini, Reebok and Columbia Sportswear.

Mercifully for those chaps whose other halves have a penchant for footwear, the site does not yet offer Jimmy Choo products such as the Heba Silk Satin Shoe which goes out at a modest 395 quid.

Amazon's new e-commerce tentacle is offering free overnight delivery and return delivery if you really must have that Perlina Wild Pedigree Frame Handbag right now at a bargain $275. ®
