Free whitepaper – Enhancing retail operations with unified communications
Users of Orange's SmartGroups are being booted off the service today, as we reported earlier this month.
The SmartGroups were a free communication lifeline to communities including a uterine fibroids support group and, er, a Porsche owners group.
In its infinite generosity group provider MailSpaces.com has offered to scoop up the stranded users. Info here.
Orange said it could no longer offer SmartGroups because of financial constraints, and gave users 30 days to find alternative means of communication.
One user contacted us to say his group was deleted almost two weeks ago with no explanation. ®
