O J Simpson hypothetico-shlockfest hits eBay

If I Did It: The Final Insult

Boost IT visibility and business value

Inevitably, copies of O J Simpson's spousal stabbing fantasy If I Did It which slipped out prior to it being recalled and pulped have popped up on eBay.

The bizzaro yarn of how the executive producer of Goldie and the Boxer Go to Hollywood would have murdered his wife and her friend in 1994 (wot he never even done) was pulled this week by Murdoch-owned HarperCollins imprint ReganBooks after some fairly unanimous condemnation.

OJ Simpson on eBay

One seller, whose auction has reached $1,225 writes: "Yes This Is The Real Deal And I Will Not Reveal Where I Got It So Dont Ask." Okay, we won't. The publishers are reportedly chasing eBay to have the auctions pulled down.

An interview tie-in already filmed with the Bronco highway rallyist has also been canned by TV stations. The words "YouTube" and "matter of time" are being carelessly wielded in these parts. ®
