Agentless Backup is Not a Myth
Nvidia will next month unveil two Intel-oriented nForce 600 series chipsets alongside the nForce 680i SLI, pictures of which leaked out last week [1]. The other chipsets are the 650i SLI and the 650i Ultra, both budget parts, it has been claimed.
According to a DailyTech report [2], the 650i parts are identical in all but one regard: the SLI version supports a pair of x8 PCI Express graphics connectors - most likely implemented as x16 slots - while the Ultra model can host just one graphics card.
Both chipsets have four 3Gbps SATA ports, though they will support drives in RAID 0, 1, 0+1 and 5 configurations. Gigabit Ethernet is part of the package, along with Nvidia's FirstPacket quality-of-service system. ®
