Carphone Warehouse has bought Newtel Communicaciones for £370,000.

Newtel has operations in Australia, Ireland, Spain, and the UK. From its website [1] it appears to offer business, residential and internet services.

The full statement, which doesn't give too much away, reads: "The Carphone Warehouse announces that it has acquired the entire issued share capital of Newtel Communicaciones Espana S.L. from Orion Telecommunications Limited, a company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, for a cash consideration of approximately £370,000."

And that, as they say, is that.®
