Carphone Warehouse has bought Newtel Communicaciones for £370,000.
Newtel has operations in Australia, Ireland, Spain, and the UK. From its website it appears to offer business, residential and internet services.
The full statement, which doesn't give too much away, reads: "The Carphone Warehouse announces that it has acquired the entire issued share capital of Newtel Communicaciones Espana S.L. from Orion Telecommunications Limited, a company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, for a cash consideration of approximately £370,000."
And that, as they say, is that.®
