Vertu Constellation to be observed in October?

Stellar street

Nokia's luxury-phone subsidiary, Vertu, will launch a new line-up in October, it has been claimed - an allegation backed up with leaked publicity shots of the expensive handsets. The upcoming phone will be called Constellation.

Specifications remain vague, but it's expected the Constellation series, which comprises four models, will sport a scratch-proof, sapphire-lensed 262,144-colour display, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE telephony and Nokia's Series 40 UI, according to a GSMArena report.

The Constellation line-up includes an 18-carat gold-plated model, along with a pair of "satin steel" versions, one with a black-leather back, the other with a brown-leather back. A fourth model mixes black leather and "polished steel". ®
