Electrical retailer Currys will start offering solar panels for sale from three of its stores.
Currys will stock the Sharp panels in Croydon, Fulham, and West Thurrock.
The press release promises "a detailed in-store consultation with a trained advisor" and a free house assessment. Information will be available online, although it isn't at the time of writing. Panels come with a 25-year performance warranty.
Currys reckons you'll need to spend about £9,000, for nine panels, to cut a three-bedroom house's electricity bill by half.
Grants may also be available via the Low Carbon Buildings Programme. ®
