Google's latest sneaky launch is Google Notebook - a tool that allows you to collect notes and web addresses while browsing the web.
In simple terms, it's an online notepad you can add pictures, text and links too. As well as keeping your own notes, you can choose to make notes public. You'll need a Google account, like a Gmail registration to use it, and it only works on Firefox and Internet Explorer.
The service also allows you to search your own notebooks and all public notebooks.
It's a nifty way to research subjects and keep your notes in order and is available from wherever you log on. But saving a document to any internet email address achieves the same thing.
