LogicaCMG clinches ESA satellite security deal
Looking for Euro subs
LogicaCMG is sniffing out subcontractors to help it service a €20m contract to develop a security management system for the European Space Agency’s Galileo satellite navigation system.
The services vendor has secured three contracts covering: the Public Regulated Services Key Management Facility; the Mission key Management Facility; and the Ground Control Key Management Facility.
LogicaCMG has already worked on earlier projects related to the 30 satellite system, designed to compete with and complement the US’ GPS system.
The core team for the security contracts pulls together LogicaCMG staffers from the UK, Netherlands and Germany, but the provider says it will now begin selecting subcontractors from across Europe to work on the project.®
