Reg launches 'Entertainment' section

Film, TV and celeb-related nonsense

Free whitepaper – SPECjbb2005 performance and power consumption on Dell, HP, and IBM blade servers

It is with a loud unfurling of the red carpet that we at El Reg today announce the creation of a new Entertainment section - into which all TV, film and celebrity-related witterings will now be dispatched.

And before the purists among you start banging on about non-IT stuff threatening to undermine our world-beating coverage of NHS IT systems, UK reseller buy-outs and blade servers, please note that we are not considering upping our entertainment output.

The move is rather to relieve the strain on Bootnotes - which has of late become a bit overcrowded and into which Doctor Who, Peter Jackson, Snoop Dogg, Naomi Campbell and Captain Kirk have hitherto found themselves unceremoniously dumped.

Not any more. If you like a bit of entertainment coverage, then you're sorted. If you'd rather saw off your own arm with a Blu-ray disk than read further details on the forthcoming remake of The Prisoner, or which supermodel attacked who with which mobile model, then you'll know where not to wander. Thank you and goodnight, you've been a wonderful audience. ®
