Apple updates Intel-based Mac firmware

Fixes remain a mystery

Apple has posted a series of firmware updates for its Intel-based Mac desktops and notebooks. The release takes the MacBook Pro, Mac Mini and iMac's firmware to version 1.0.1. In each case, the download weighs in at a mere 2.8MB. You can get it here.

Apple has yet to reveal what the update fixes and/or improves, and no documentation is provided with the download itself. The updater app "now runs on localised systems that use languages that read right to left", the company said. ®
