Relisys goes into administration
Monitor maker displays For Sale sign
Monitor maker Relisys has gone into administration.
The Manchester-based company's phones have not been answered for the last two weeks and its website went offline a week later (it's back now). PKF Accountants are handling the administration.
A spokesman for PKF said: "John Newell and Kerry Bailey are handling things - it went into administration on the 12th January."
Relisys has a good reputation for its monitors and was seen as a solid mid-market performer - good quality but not too expensive.
Chris Dalby is a director of Yellow Park and has resold Relisys kit for years. Dalby told The Reg: "I like their products and hope the brand is re-established. The products were always good - we'd get calls asking for it specifically and I've never had to return any kit."
We'll have more details on this story later today. ®
