eBayer pays £470 for photo of Xbox 360
Box of tricks

Here's one hot off the press: an unwary eBayer appears to have just paid £470 for what he or she obviously thought was an "XBOX 360 PREMIUM PACKAGE" (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8241041439&ru=http://search.ebay.co.uk:80/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.co.uk%2Fws%2F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=8241041439&category0=&fvi=1#ebayphotohosting):

All well and good, as is most of the extensive blurb accompanying this tempting offer. It's worth reading right to the end, though:

Yup, we sincerely hope it's a really nice picture of an Xbox because 470 quid is an awful lot of wonga. The moral? Caveat emptor. ®
And there's more
How much would you pay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8239552822&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D8239552822%2B%26fvi%3D1) for two Xbox hotmail addresses? 481 quid? No, us neither.
Bootnote
The usual thanks to Jac Timms and Rick Miles for the tip-offs.
