AMD has decided to charge less for its Athlon 64 desktop processors, just three days after implementing a range of reductions across its other desktop and mobile product lines.
Whether AMD is doubling up the newspaper headline opportunities the price cuts provide or someone simply forgot to enter the changes into the pricing database on Monday, we don't know. What we can say is that Athlon 64 prices today fell by up to 20.1 per cent. ®
